Jared Brubaker

Founder and Managing Partner

Jared Brubaker has a broad corporate practice, representing investment funds, startups, and their respective investors at all stages of their lifecycles, including formations, financings, investments, reorganizations, recapitalizations, joint ventures, and M&A.

Prior to founding Brubaker Law LLP, Jared practiced law at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where he advised Goldman Sachs and SoftBank Capital. He also worked in-house at two startups, including a broker-dealer at which he was a General Securities Principal (Series 24).

Jared has a J.D. from Harvard Law School (cum laude), an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, and a B.A.S. in Computer Science and History from Stanford University (with departmental honors in each and with distinction). He is also a CFA charterholder.

Jared is a member of the State Bar of California. He is also a member of the California Lawyers Association (where he is a member of the Business Law Section) and a member of the American Bar Association (where he is a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Committee, the Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee, and Institutional Investors Committee).
