Helen Liu

Senior Associate

Helen’s practice focuses on advising investment funds, primarily venture capital funds, through all stages of fund life, including formation, the capital raising process and investments in portfolio holdings. In addition, she advises on equity financings, commercial contracts and other general corporate and securities law matters. Helen also has experience with offshore fund structures and advising cryptocurrency investment funds.

Prior to practicing law, Helen was a business professional in the biotech/life sciences industry with experience in technology and strategic marketing, market development and research, sales operation and business development.

Helen received a J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she served as a Senior Articles Editor for the UC Davis Law Review. She also received a M.B.S. in the Business of Bioscience from Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences, a member of the Claremont Colleges, and a B.A. in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley with a minor in English.

Helen is a member of the State Bar of California.
